We started our first Ahmadiyya Muslim Community K-8 Math Challenge program in 2016, that ended on May 31, 2017. It was a new program of its kind within the jamaat with the goal of encouraging our young minds to excel in Math. Mathematics is the mother of all sciences, and research shows that children who develop a strong base in Mathematics by the end of their middle school go on to do very well in academics.
We are very pleased to announce the winners of the inaugural 2016-2017 K-8 Math Challenge program. There are two category of winners: students who participated in the Khan Academy Math Missions for their respective grade, and students who participated in the in-person “five questions in thirty minutes” math contest.
